We know raising kids is tough! At First Brethren Church, we want to partner with parents to help them raise children of godly character, through Biblical teaching that is fun for kids. Our ministry to children and families includes:
Yes, Kids Club is meeting! At Kids Club, children deepen their faith and learn to make wise decisions through games, crafts, music, and a Bible story shared through entertaining videos and committed teachers. Kids Club meets Wednesdays during the school year from 6:30 - 7:30 PM. Kids Club is open to kids aged Pre-K through 6th grade.
This year's Kids Club will be adjusted to allow for greater social distancing and to keep kids and families safe during the pandemic. Students will meet in the church fellowship hall around the round tables. We are asking that only one family use each table. Parents are also welcome to join us this year, as our format will work for the entire family. Masks are encouraged as people arrive and exit, but while seated around tables masks are optional. Though our program will have to change to adjust to the times, Kids Club will be a lot of fun for kids and for parents, too!
We have a Jr. Church program that meets most Sundays during the morning sermon. This is taught by faithful volunteers and is for students in Kindergarten through 6th Grade. During the first Sunday of each month, Jr. Church doesn't meet, but there is a children's message during the Worship Service.
Send your kid to camp for a week! Summer Camp creates lifetime memories and helps kids grow closer to their Creator. And regular Kids Club attendees can earn scholarships to go to camp for FREE! To learn more about camping opportunities, visit the link below.
