We are hosting a VBS style DAY CAMP in New Paris July 20-22. Camp Shipshewana, which we normally send our students to each year, has had to cancel its overnight camps this summer. But the camp staff are running a couple of Day Camps in different towns, and one of them is here in New Paris!
The camp will be held at Sunnyside Park from 8:30-11:30am July 20th, 21st, and 22nd. It is open to ages 6-11. During the day camp, social distancing protocols will be followed, but kids will have a load of fun, hearing the story of Jesus through games, crafts, songs, prepackaged snacks, and a Bible lesson. Students will be divided into groups, and the camp’s well-trained counselors will lead the various activities. Volunteers from our church will also be helping keep things sanitized, screening for fevers, etc.
Kids from all over the area are invited, but we have to cap the registration at 40 kids. This Day Camp is FREE, but we do need kids to register. Registrations can be picked up in a box located in front of our church sign on 3rd St. OR YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT BY CLICKING THE LINK BELOW THIS ARTICLE.
