A lot of exciting things are happening in our Kids Ministry! On Sunday, November 17th, Kids Club held a Family Roller Skating Party at Eby’s Family Fun in Bristol. 25 people showed up, representing six of our Kids Club families, and several members of our youth group. It was a fun time of roller skating and laser tag. We are planning several more family events for the rest of the school year.
Our next event, which we want to invite EVERYONE to, is our Kids Club Christmas Program. This year’s program will be held Wednesday, December 18th at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary, and is entitled “A Christmas Musical of Crooked Carols”. It is a fun retelling of the Christmas story that puts the story to song using the tunes of secular Christmas songs like “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer” and “Jingle Bells”. Everyone is invited to attend, and to join us for cookies and refreshment afterwards in the fellowship hall.
In December, our Jr. Church program will begin a new quarter. Our theme this quarter is “O Little Town”. Kids will learn about the places where Jesus ministered, and what He did in those places. Our teaching schedule has been posted, but we are always looking for eager volunteers to serve as teachers or substitutes. Talk to Jamie if you are interested!
